Connective Tissue is everywhere in our body, it is within and around all our organs, muscles, tendons and bones and it supports and connects all these structures as a whole.
Connective Tissue when healthy has a flow and is expansive, this flow can be hindered by stress and emotions like anxiety, frustration, sadness or anger, whereby it becomes clogged up and contracted.
Over time this tightness can become more accepted and we are less aware of this lack of spaciousness in our bodies, we can think it is a normal state for our body.
Connective Tissue Therapy is supportive when there are physical aches, pains, like neck pain, muscular strains and injuries, inflammation and fractures, as it is a support to the body while it is undergoing the healing process both pre and post operation.
