Our family is generally our first experience of relationships, this can form what our beliefs of relationships are, and so what we take out to the world. We learn from our family, the way to speak and be with another, we learn what standards are acceptable, and what is not.

Anxiety, what exactly is anxiety? Could anxiety simply be when a person does not feel equipped to deal with what’s in front of them, or is there more?
Esoteric, what does esoteric mean?
Since the word esoteric appears in all the titles of the modalities I offer on my website I felt it may be wise to bring more understanding to what the word ‘esoteric’ truly means. Esoteric simply means innermost, so in relation to ourselves it is in our innermost that we can find our natural innate way of being. We can connect to our natural divine qualities of love, truth, joy, harmony and stillness by connecting to our inner-heart, and by how we move and live, the quality we choose to be in. To bring this into real life examples; What does God mean to you? Who is God? Do you have a relationship with God? The word “God” has many different meanings for different people. God is often mentioned alongside religion, ‘Religion’ being another word that brings up so much for so many.
Abuse comes in many shapes and forms, whether it be physical, psychological, sexual or emotional and all of these forms of abuse are rampant in our society today.
If we just look at self-abuse, this topic alone is huge, with many not even realising they are being abusive. A subtle example of self-abuse could simply be ignoring our bodies many messages of wisdom. Our body is like a loving best friend, constantly impulsing us, and yet how often do we ignore these subtle messages at our own expense. A more extreme example of self-abuse is cutting which is huge in teenagers today. The more I embrace the teachings and philosophy of Serge Benhayon, the more my life changes. These changes can be described as healings, and they are allowing the true me to emerge – a bit like a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis shell.
I used to live my life like I was in a shell, which I thought protected me from people and the world, and from being hurt, but it did not work as I would still end up feeling hurt by this person or by that situation or incident. Recently I have become increasingly aware of how much people are struggling in their relationships, this can be a relationship with a partner, a colleague, a family member, a neighbour, or just relationships in general.
What I have noticed is that the quality of their relationships, whether they are in a ‘good’ relationship or a difficult relationship or just having problems with relationships in general affects their everyday life – having a big impact on their well-being, emotional state and health. Most of us get our car serviced as a matter of course, which makes sense because we want a reliable vehicle for life’s many journeys. We also enjoy replacing our car with a newer or new model every so often. What does not make sense is that we look after our car, a replaceable item, in many cases better than we look after our bodies, which is not a replaceable item.
What is true health and wellbeing? Some people regard this as an absence of cancer, heart disease, diabetes or any other major form of illness. Many people live with compromised health, this maybe exhaustion, depression, headaches, IBS, constipation, painful periods, poor digestion, the list goes on and on. Have we resigned ourselves to just accept these symptoms with a sense of relief that at least we don’t have a ‘major’ illness?
